ils doivent aller ailleurs.
It is gray, cold (20-22 º !) and there is a lot
of wind.
I go to the post office to mail my postcards.
The large post office is nearly empty, no queue ... I go going to a window and
there I see a little notice " No hay sistema ", which means that the electronic
system does not work; so all the windows are closed. An employee accepts though
to sell me two stamps. Good.
Otherwise, I confess I do not much I am tired
and have little energy.
I'll talk about heavy rains in February in San
Juan.
In February, this year, it rained three days
continuously in the region. This had not happened in 40 years. Infrastructures
are not planned for this kind of weather and construction either. Roads have
been cut, the adobe houses have collapsed, official buildings were damaged and
2,600 people had to be relocated, most provisionally in schools. But now
schools are starting again and they have to go elsewhere. I think it fell 100
mm of water. This is why it is much greener than normal. People were shocked,
they still talk a lot about it.
We dine in the garden, but with more cloths on. Jens goes and buy a hamburger at a "hole in the wall" close by at 9.30 pm (it is not open before that). We have good memories of this hamburger, but this time we are a little disapointed, the hamburge is good but the fries are not. We are finished at 10:30 pm. Almost like Sanjuaninos!
